About DöXA

Yianni Cassimatis – DöXA Founder & Director

Why us?

Yianni has experience in institutional and retail finance across various businesses that spans 20 years. Beginning his career in financial and economic research, analysis and education, Yianni then transitioned to software, product and instrument development and management – servicing and supporting various dealer groups and financial advisory firms.

Establishing DöXA Group in 2019 was the result of identifying a gap in the financial advice sector whereby high-quality paraplanning, research and analysis was in short supply. Yianni’s vision for DöXA Group is to establish an array of services and technical solutions for advisers and paraplanners to interface more effectively and efficiently.

The core team of DöXA has over 50 years of experience in finance with partners having worked as paraplanners, financial advisers, compliance officers and financial software developers for various businesses at retail, institutional and regulatory levels. Paraplanners at DöXA are passionate about collaborating with advisers to deliver the most comprehensively tested and elucidated advice documentation, associated research and modelling. Our onshore paraplanners have all final documentation analysed by a central point ensuring advice documentation remains at the highest advice, compliance and ethical standards.

DöXA understands that, particularly for small-medium sized firms, the struggle to support the full-time employment and ongoing training of non-income producing paraplanners with often lumpy pipelines renders any hired paraplanner either temporarily overworked, and thus delivering compromised quality, or underutilised. Often the paraplanner in question, once trained, is earmarked to become an adviser. Paraplanning at DöXA is not a steppingstone – it is our expertise.

Outsourced paraplanning has emerged as an option for advisory firms – most often for pipeline spillover. The industry is, however, still in its early phase with many firms having been turned off using outsourced paraplanning given the frustrating back-and-forth between, usually, an off-shore paraplanner and an adviser. Ineffective outsourcing has, for many, rendered any financial benefits redundant with significant inefficiency burdens.

DöXA’s vision for a high-quality, dedicated and integrated approach to the outsourced paraplanning sector begins with well-trained and highly-educated paraplanners, robust systems and processes mated to a strict adherence of financial ethics.
